The town of Dimitrovgrad (Haskovo District) is located in and is administrative center of Dimitrovgrad Municipality. It is situated 45 km away from town of Stara Zagora, 78 km away from town of Plovdiv, 215 km away from townSouth-Central Bulgaria of Burgas and 275 km away from town of Russe. The distance to the capital city Sofia is 220 km.
The town of Dimitrovgrad has an unique destiny. The beginning was set on 10th May 1947 by 40 youths who came to build their dream town. They were followed by thousands. By that time at that place there were 3 villages – Rakovski, Marijno and Ghernokoniovo. They were united by the Council of Ministers. The town was built by 50 000 members of brigades who came from 963 Bulgarian towns and villages. A part of them became inhabitants of the new town. From 1948 to 1950 they worked in an independent brigade called Mlada Gvardia (Young Guards). Their motto was: We are building a town – the town is building us! Brigades built dozens of homes, Chemical Works, Vulkan factory, Nitrogen fertilizer works, the road network of today`s Municipality of Dimitrovgad and other objects in Bulgaria as: the road through Hainboaz passage, the railway lines: Lovech - Troyan, Pernik – Voluyak, Samuil – Silistra, the artificial lakes Alexander Stamboliiski, Georgi Dimitrov and others.
Dimitrovgrad is one of the most planted with trees and shrubs towns in Bulgaria. 1900 decares of parks and gardens and 2750 decares of forests were planted there.

DELIVERY AND RETURN - / only in Sofia / 8 EUR additional fee. For long lerm contracts /more than 7 days/ free of charge.
ONE WAY RENTALS - If you are planning to return the car to a different location, please advice when booking. Additional charges are applicable for the service.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER- 2 EUR per day, with a maximum of 20 EUR per rental period.
DELAY - an hours delay - free of charge; from 1 to 3 hours - 50% daily rental fee; over 3 hours - extra day
AIRPORT CHARGE- Sofia Airport - 10 EUR additional charge.
Winter services fee - 9 EUR additional charge / once per rental /. Winter fee applies for the period from 1 December to 30 March
Contracts up to 7 days - GPS for 3 EUR per day Contracts over 7 days - GPS 2 EUR but not more than 30 EUR for whole rental period.
Cross Border Fee - 20 euros per rental
Cross border Certificate ( Power of Attorney ) - 10 euros per rental
Insurance claim fee - min 50 euros per claim
Child Seats, Winter Chains- available on request at extra charge - 4 EURper rental
Additional fees for national Holidays after office hours and sundays (pls see below)
